November 10
This is part of my pro-d activity for today, getting signed on to this blog and moving forward with project plans. I am feeling a bit daunted by the size and complexity of the projects already posted. I would like to set up some kind of a writing conference but am not too sure what would be the best way. So any tips from you writing conference experts would be appreciated. I am also going to get my parent survey ready today to begin my plans for improving parent contact via email/website etc. I have a problem in that I am totally without email at school (it just stopped working) so until that is sorted, I will have to do things as I can at home. Take care everyone and have a great Pro-d!

Hi Leslie,
I have set up several different types of writing conferences. Have a look at the Writing Room for an example of FirstClass solution. http://thewritingroom.ca and log in with your Abbynet user name and password. Also, have blogs built with blogger hosted on a password protected server has been very effective. We did this last year and it worked very well. I can show you this sometime if you would like to drop by eTLC.
